Ootd: What I wore to run errands

Happy happy Sunday! I realized I have never done a post that shows what my day-to-day bag is. Enter the Hayden Harnett Barnard crossbody bag in the Persian Rose colour.

I have owned this bag for over two years now, and it just keeps on getting softer and softer, but unfortunately more beat up. I am going with that it only adds to the charm, and makes the bag have a more "vintage" charm to it. I love crossbody bags, and given that I am a huge pedestrian, having my hands free are pretty much a requirement when I run errands.

This is my hair it is air-dried state. Hello puffy bottom half, but sometimes it is nice to just not bother, and head out the door without hassle.

Ootd: well...

Of yesterday! No one wants to see me in my work clothes, so not awesome. 

I think this past weekend was one of the best ones I had had in a long time. When people would ask me how my weekend was, I would keep on bursting into a big grin. Between hanging out with most of my close friends, eating good food, getting outside, and just relaxing, it was really enjoyable. 

Since yesterday was the tamer day of the weekend, just simple pants and a top.

Little bit country, little bit rock and...(a small challenge at the end)

Cheap! That would be my outfit of course. Ohhh a pink and red shirt! Well more burgundy then red.  Not normally a colour I reach for, but I wanted to try outside my normal choices.  I don't have a picture of the back, but it has little buttons going halfway up the back, great little detail.

I took this picture with the flash, the quality isn't the best, but you can see my little nubbin of a ponytail going on.  It is getting to the point where I now either cut it off, or grow it out.  I feel like long hair would be a nice change again.

Blue Velvet

Yay! Monday!  A short week this time thanks to the holidays, just have to get through the week.  Tim will be up too about half way through, and then we can start our holiday cooking, movie going, shopping, etc. What fun!

Before I found out about Anthropologie, I was a huge fan of JCrew.  With there being no brick and mortar presence in Canada, I found that their clothing options were unique, the quality was pretty decent, and with sales, the pricing was great.  The Bella velvet blazer was my only full-priced purchase from them, and I have never regretted it.  The colour is fantastic and the detailing throughout is superb.

It Snowed!

Well snow has finally touched down here but it is almost gone, melting away.  It was really nice to wake up this morning to all the white, made the start of the day seem so bright and cheery.

It has been a very busy and slightly stressful week, but I have the weekend off, and I am trying my best to enjoy it as much as possible.  I might go and try to get some Christmas shopping done tomorrow.  We are not having a big holiday this year, and most of the present for people will be ordered online since my family is pretty scattered.  I do need to pick up a secret Santa gift, and few little things here and there though.  I am usually a last minute shopper, so every year I keep on trying to get it done early, doesn't always work though!

The weather just makes me want to put on soft and warm clothing.  All of these pieces are repeats, except for the silk shell (Jcrew).
