Outfit of the Day: 2 past outfits

Here are a couple of past outfits, been feeling unmotivated and lounging around in sweats pretty much for the last 2 weeks. I hope to have more outfits around the corner.

 Wore this last night for Valentine's Day. No pink or red on me! Tim bought this dress for me a couple of Christmas' ago, so I figured it was a good choice. We went out for a pasta dinner, and they brought us the wrong dessert, yay for extras! That's the way to my heart for sure.

Outfit of the Day: Hats off to Winter

Do you match your outerwear to your underwear in the winter? Ok not your under underwear, but what you wear under your coat or jacket.

Red Buffalo Check Coat - Anthropologie "Birling Ruffle Coat" by Plenty! Tracy Reese, Black Ribbon Fedora - Gap, Boots - Hayden Harnett "Zelda Boots"

 Ok so not the best match underneath. The blue tights don't really go with the red and black outerwear, but no one is looking that closely anyways in person. On the blog I will say it is artistic license. Yes, that was my plan all along.

Ootd: polka dot bandwagon

Here I am jumping on the polka-dotted bandwagon. 

I do not really have that many polka-dots, and I like the subtle dots on this dress. It is from Tracy Reese's Plenty line, and is called the Pocket Frock dress. It was a gift from Tim for Christmas, and I finally got around to wearing it and taking a picture the same time.

Polka dot umbrella - from my mom!

 We went out for brunch this morning, but not before discovering the hot water tank was still having issues. Turns out the reset button had been tripped. Good thing it was an easy fix (aka push a button), there are enough issues going around the house with drywall and piping.

The weird white lines going on the pictures are raindrops, not grey hairs or threads, I promise.
