Outfit of the Day: Last day of August

Last day of August, first day of fall weather? Pretty dreary outside this morning, but the weather this weekend should be nice. I am looking forward to the long weekend to spend with my husband (!).

I am still adjusting to my new location, filing forms, etc, so I am not really in the mood to put on fun clothes just to sit around. Oh, and my laptop died, yay!

Outfit of the Day: Bright Stripes

Why are we able to wear sweaters and jeans in the middle of July? This isn't right, but I dressed according to the weather.

May I take a minute to explain how much I love this sweater? The colours are fantastic, and the drape? Love the drape. It sits all kooky and crazy, but I love the silhouette it gives me. If anyone has any of the solid version of it that no longer gets enough love from you, in a size small, let me know? I would love to re-home it for you.

Outfit of the Day: Officially One Day Behind

Hmm can't seem to catch up on backlog of photos and outfits at the moment. Yay for having things to post though eh?  That said, what is the first thing you do when you get something new? For me it is either stash it in the closet, or wear it right away. You can see below what I did.

Outfit of the (yester)Day: The Magpie Effect

In the last little bit I have picked up three feather printed things. I don't think I will pick up anything else, but there is something about the feathers that just draw me to them. I think birds have the same effect too, sort of magpie like. Feather printed things = Shiny things to me according to this rational.

Outfit Of The Day: Ruffles, ruffles, and more ruffles

My name is Jess, and I like ruffles. It is not obvious at all.

 I also have a weakness for JCrew merino wool sweaterdress. The one that got away? Campo Di Fiori Sweaterdress. Maybe one day I will find it on ebay or something.

 Time to break out the flats I think.  Still not giving up my tights though.

Navy Tights - No idea

 I don't normally share my bag collection because  my bags are pretty basic, but I am smitten with this one. The Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Clutch in Fuchsia Croc. It was a ridiculously unbelievably low price at Winners since it was missing the strap. Who steals a strap from a bag though? So silly, and I like my super adjustable strap that I added on. This was bought before my Shopping Ban Challenge started of course.
